  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kindle Customer -- This book will capture and break your heart.. : How can a person "rate" a book about such a harrowing horrifyingly significant time in history? I cried my way through this stunning book. So much research, so much detail. The three sisters lives were laid bare but handled with such dignity. Thank you Heather Morris for all your grace in allowing us to meet these extraordinary women through your book. Thank you Cibi, Magda, Livi for sharing your story with the world. The world needs to read more books like this. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Jonelle Williams -- Amazing story : Another amazing work by Heather Morris. She brings the harrowing and incredible story of the Meller sisters' survival to life. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from BP -- Heather Morris does it again! : I couldn’t wait for The Three Sisters to be released as I read this author’s first two books and loved them. This 3rd book takes readers on an unforgettable journey with three amazing sisters who survived the Camps in World War II and created full lives in the aftermath of what the world later came to know as a horrific and unimaginable darkness in history. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Amazon Customer -- WWII fiction : This author did an amazing job collaborating this story of three sisters who have suffered their own kinds of hell on Earth at the hands of the Nazis. It is difficult to put down and just as difficult to forget the story after reading it. Loved it as much as The Nightingale. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2021 )
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars from L. E. Millers -- Inspiring sibling story : This touching story of three sisters who make a promise to stay together is based on their true story of being imprisoned at Auschwitz. The author, Heather Morris, has previously written "The Tattooist of Auschwitz" and "Cilka's Journey" which loosely tie to these sisters but could be read as stand alone books. I have read all three and enjoyed all of them. They are filled with content about Auschwitz as seen from different angles. This one would make an especially wonderful gift to sisters. It is about strength, courage, endurance and the ability to create a new life after suffering through all of the terrible times. The last section of the book is about their life in Israel. I thought it was inspiring, uplifting and wonderfully well written. Simply amazing that this was a true story! ( Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2022 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Swilson665 -- Wow...just wow! Read in one sitting, 5 hours, could not put it down! : Oh my word, one of the most compelling and enthralling books I have ever read. If you thought The Tattooist of Auschwitz was good, this, in my opinion, is even better! Who even knew that was possible?! The story itself doesn't need reviewed these remarkable women cannot be adequately described in one short paragraph but the writing? The feeling, the tenderness, hatred, sorrow and victory so beautifully composed. Heather Morris has outdone herself. Oh and one final note, read the snippets at the end. The story of how the book came about is as thrilling at the work itself!! Just wow. ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 14, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Mr. Kieran Bassett -- this is a book that has to be read : Wow! Heather Morris has written this so beautifully. An amazing account of three sisters who despite existing through hell managed to go on and live full lives. ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 24, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Hayley Savage -- Brilliant! : Another great read from Heather Morris. I enjoyed this just as much as her previous two books and am looking forward to the next. I liked that this book followed the main characters (The Three Sisters) to the present day and not just thought their time in Auschwitz. I always enjoy reading the notes at the end and seeing how much research goes into these books. I’ve already bought the physical copy to add to my collection. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from DMSNAR -- Another Masterpiece : What a wonderful story, yet again, retold with compassion, care and love by Heather. This is a story of family, love, determination and strength. Although the experiences of the girls were horrendous they never stop hoping or fighting. It never fails to shock me what all those millions of people went through in those camps and during that war, the despicable way human life was disregarded by other humans. These books honour those who have suffered, who were lost and their families. They keep their memories alive. A positive story and well worth a read. • 3.0 out of 5 stars from Matthew John Mahoney -- Not as good as the others. : This is the third book in the series. It feels as though it holds more true to the original stories of the three sisters. In staying true to their story I feel it lacks in good story telling and what makes a good none fiction book. Cilkas story was much better written but I know there was much controversy from her family about accuracy, it feels as though Morris has compensated for this and had kept more true to the original story and in doing so has created a book that is less gripping to read. Still a good book though and you should definitely read it as the last book In the series. The other two are better though. ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 27, 2021 )
